Agnes

A long sleeved tee shirt inspired this piece, elegant I feel, in its simplicity and fit – snug at the bust and neckline, A‐line extending hip length, and slightly shaped waist indicated gently by a 2x2 rib. The narrow sleeves are generously long. This piece is worked from the top down and in the round. Stitches are picked up around the neckline for the for its rib trim, and around the armhole for the set‐in sleeves. The top‐down set‐in sleeves method described in these instructions has been taken from Elizabeth Doherty's Top Down: Reimagining Set‐in Sleeve Design, a publication available from Quince & Co.
